Fajita Grill: A Flavorsome Mexican Experience in Valparaiso

We ordered to go. The heart shaped bowls were perfect for Valentine's Day. The fajita bowls had so much food. Yummy chips and salsa. Service was fast. Maria was so nice and very helpful. Thank you! Grab some on your way home tonight.

The food is okay. The Enchiladas Verde was good. The Pozole was not very flavorful. Our tortilla chips last time were stale. Our server was not very attentive. The table layout feels very crowded.

They never disappoint! Our dinner tonight was delicious and we have enough leftovers for another meal. My husband and I tried new to dinners and were very thrilled. My husband had the Sope Dinner and I chose the Steak Ala Mexicana. Delicious!!!!

The food wasn't bad. Service wasn't great. Small inside area. If you drove by you wouldn't be missing anything

The food and drinks were great but the waitress Maria was OUTSTANDING. Her customer service was amazing! She went over the menu with us and showed us her favorites and also the best sellers. Food and drinks came out quickly. Chips, salsa and guacamole were fabulous!! Loved the outdoor area. Great little place!! Highly recommended!!

Small place with decent food. I didn’t care for the beef taco as is didn’t have much flavor. The pork taco and the bean dip were pretty good. The steak fajitas were chewy without much flavor. Chicken fajitas were much better.

Since my two sons have left the nest I've tried to established a monthly tradition last year of trying new and local restaurants, last month it was my oldest son's turn to pick the spot, and boy did he pick a good spot. Fajita Grill in South Haven! Service was responsive and friendly. Food was delivered quickly, hot and delicious! AND since they have a Taco Tuesday special featuring beef, chicken, pork and chorizo options for only $1.50ea! And they did not skimp on the meat! If you don't mind spending a little more they had steak or carnitas tacos for $3ea. That was almost 4 weeks ago and I have been back every Tuesday since with my wife. This week we also had the Nachos Supreme with carnitas. Best Nachos I've Ever Had! And don't forget the guacamole, it is excellent ! Thank you Fajita Grill! 1 year review update! Truly one of, if not the BEST, most consistent Mexican restaurants in the area, BAR NONE!! My family and I along with other friends have been back multiple times each month and have NEVER experienced a problem with our orders and the service is ALWAYS stellar! Whether it's tacos, nachos, Sopes (are absolutely KILLER), Pozole, Fajitas, fajita salads, carnitas bowls.... EVERYTHING we've ever had has exceeded our expectations, and more than generous portions!!! I thanked them last year and I will again... THANK YOU FAJITA GRILL!!!

Fantastic find! Wife and I couldn't decide where to eat. Not many authentic spots in portage indiana that caught our eye. We stumbled onto this GEM ! Now look. This isn't the top notch 5 star quality place where you get a glass bottle of 60$ water to rise your hands. BUT, this spot has great food and they aren't money hungry either. The portion per plate is great and falls in line with the prices. This lil spot gives you the mom and pop feels. Give them a shot! Might be your new go to spot instead of spending 40 bucks at Chip0tle or being disappointed at a fake "authentic" Mexican spot in the portage and surrounding areas... there aren't many gems around... but this is one of the few.
